G: Let's have a talk on assembling cameras.
我們來談一下裝配照相機的事。
W: Because of the cheap land and labour,assembling in China will greatly reduce the cost.

G: That's why I come to China. Is there any tax exemption or reduction?

W: Yes. The tax exemption or reduction will allow you at least 5% more profits.

G: That's very attractive. Are you interested in the assembling business?

G: That sounds reasonable. How long would you like to make a contract with us?

G: That's all right. We'd like to know your rate of assembling charges.

W: The assembling charges for each set are $20 and the payment is to be made by irrevobale L/C.

Z:I think the processing fees shall be fixed on the basis of the world labour price with a discount of 20%.

J: That's great.

Z: The supplied materials shall be delivered to our warehouse at your expense. If any defect is found in the materials supplied by you, we will advise you immediately, and you will send over replacements in time. The allowance for damage to materials in the course of processing is 3%.

J: I think we may accept it. You shall process in strict accordance with the design, and deliver the finished products in conformity with the contract terms respecting the time of delivery, quality and quantity.

Z: We agree. We hope the payment shall be made by sight L/C to be opened by you not later than 30 days before shipment.

J: We can accept that. Shall the auxiliary materials and packing materials for processing be purchased by you on our behalf and the cost involved constitute a part of the processing fee?

Z: I'm afraid we can't accept that. The cost shall not constitute a part of the processing fee.

Z: How about Tuesday afternoon?
