Make Lists and Schedules

Seeing everything in writing will help get you organized mentally for the move and will help you not stress as much about the whole process. Write down lists for everything you can think of from items to be packed now, to what can be donated. While making your lists, create a moving schedule and goals to reach for each week up until your moving date. Make sure to stick to your scheduleand follow through on your goals to keep from falling behind.

If you are moving in the summer and your company has summer hours, use your Friday off as the time to focus on your upcoming move instead of saving the work for the weekend. Speak with your HR department for more information about the options you may have for your move.
