創(chuàng)作背景
專輯封面1977年的一個晚上，皇后樂隊在英國伯明翰附近的賓力大廳演出時，現(xiàn)場觀眾出乎意料地積極回應并激情合唱，這不在樂隊的計劃之中，在當時也很少見。演出結束的當晚，樂隊成員布萊恩·梅便認為聽眾參與到演唱是必然趨勢，而皇后樂隊必須接受并為實現(xiàn)這個目標創(chuàng)造條件，樂隊主唱佛萊迪·摩克瑞認同這一觀點，并認為這將非常有趣，佛萊迪隨后在“參與”這一理念的指導下創(chuàng)作了《We are the champions》
佛萊迪·摩克瑞認為《We are the champions》必須抓住所有人的心，否則它就不是一首好歌。佛萊迪覺得讓所有人感動是他的職責，而該曲是獻給勝利者的贊歌
