　　My Summer Holiday

　　Good morning, my dear fellows. I am happy to see all of our classmates come back to school. I would like to share my life in holiday with you. This summer holiday, I spent most of my time in playing, like watching TV, playing games, outing with friends and so on. But I also pay attention to my study. For example, I like watching the educational TV programs, so that I can both have fun and learn something new at the same time. Besides, I get up early to do some morning reading to practice my English. Of course, I finish my summer exercises on time. In short, my summer holiday is colorful and meaningful. 　　The warden of the prison felt sorry for one of his inmates because every weekend on Visitor’s Day, most of the prisoners had family members and friends coming, but poor George alwayssat alone in his cell.

　　So one Visitor’s Day, the warden called George to his office and said, "I notice you’ve never had any visitors, George." Sympathetic, he put his hand on George’s shoulder. "Tell me, don’t you have any friends or family?"

　　In Jin Dynasty there was a man named Yue Guang who was fond of drinking alcohol.

　　晉朝有個叫樂(yuè)廣的人，愛喝酒。

　　One day, he invited a friend to his house to drink together.

　　一天，他邀請朋友到家里來對斟對飲。

　　Suddenly, his friend saw the reflection of a snack swimming in the goblet.
